As the year draws to a close, and the festive season approaches, it's time to reflect on the year so far, and no better way than looking back at my previous week! In the midst of the holiday rush, juggling interviews, coaching sessions, and connecting with candidates and clients, there's always a moment for a refreshing swim and a well-deserved break. So, grab a cuppa and join me on a journey through the daily hustle and rewarding moments of a week in the world of recruitment and coaching.
Monday:
- Conducted a series of candidate interviews and specialised searches for clients seeking unique skill sets.
- Energising 25-minute swim to unwind and recharge.
- Checked in with my son at university, offering some timeless advice on his first essay.
- Enjoyed an evening stroll with my husband.
Tuesday:
- Participated in an online team profile assessment workshop, gaining accreditation in @TMSDI Team Profiling.
- Connected with recently placed candidates, witnessing their satisfaction in their new roles.
Wednesday:
- Engaged with existing clients, discussing impressive candidates in HR, Digital, Sales, and Marketing.
- Balanced emails and administrative tasks.
- Extended my swim to 45 minutes, embracing both breaststroke and backstroke.
- Escaped to the cinema with my husband, relishing the comfort of reclining chairs while watching "Napoleon."
Thursday:
- Early morning breakfast meetings in Leeds, meeting wonderful people.
- Conducted competency-based interviews with candidates throughout the day.
- Managed emails and admin tasks.
- Wished my niece a Happy Birthday and attended an evening networking meeting in York.
Friday:
- Led an online assessment centre.
- Conducted private career coaching for a Senior HR professional, providing guidance on a supporting statement and interview tips.
- Compiled individual summary reports from the assessment centre, finishing at 7.45 pm.
- Organised travel arrangements for an upcoming client meeting and tackled the online food shopping.
Relaxed! As the week winds down, it's time to unwind and relax, cherishing the accomplishments and connections made throughout my busy week. Looking forward to a well-deserved break over the festive period and another busy and fun year ahead!
