A senior buyer’s role has become available within a fast paced and expanding company based in Harrogate.
You will be responsible for managing the day to day procurement activities for specific product categories in order to deliver high product availability, and to maximise profitability.
You role will involve providing leadership to your team, managing and maintaining positive and productive customer and supplier relationships, managing the resolution of risk inventory, maximising the rotations/funding from suppliers and being directly accountable for key metrics including availability, DOS, inventory costs and LIFR.
To be successful in your application you should have experience within a Supply Chain environment ideally but not exclusively in a highly tech, high value international environment, have strong inventory management and planning skills and supervisory experience.
Salary £40-45K plus bonus and excellent benefit structure
