A varied, interesting and challenging role has become available for an individual who has previous experience as a Legal Cashier to join a very supportive, established and well-known company in York.
This role as a Legal Cashier will be to provide support within a well established fantastic multi-sited firm based in the centre of York. This warm, friendly and professional office that oozes of character is part of a well-established and highly respected firm, and is now looking to expand their accounts and administration team.
A typical day will include assisting the Practice Manager in the accounts department, posting payments, receipts and transfers in a timely and accurate manner. You will also be assisting the department with administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying and diary management.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 years’ experience as a legal cashier, preferably within a legal finance department, although this is not essential however you must have a good understanding of the Solicitors Account Rules.

Ideally, we are looking for someone with strong IT skills (including Outlook and Excel), with good organisational and communication skills. The perfect person will be committed to delivering excellence within their work, a professional manner and a good team player.
