Sorry it’s been a while since my last ‘Cuppa with Clare’ – how have you all been keeping?
I don’t know about you, but there seems to have been a shift from ‘lockdown’ working to new normal – it is time to start thinking of things differently. Getting back to the office was an emotional and yet extremely positive feeling – especially when I had my first face to face meeting and lots of new roles to talk to candidates about.
It’s exciting times at One to One Recruitment and I’ve a few things to fill you in on.
We’ve a new colleague! I’m delighted to tell you that Abi Pick has joined us as Director – Outplacement and Senior Appointments. Abi has been responsible for creating and delivering our strategic and tactical marketing plan for the last few years and has now taken a key recruitment-focused role to support our ambitious growth plans.
An extensive background in international recruitment, having worked in Sydney, Paris, London and Yorkshire, Abi’s expertise lies in large-scale, senior level and outsourced recruitment solutions. Her combination of recruitment and marketing skills ensures that our clients are best placed to attract and retain superb talent, whilst our candidates will not only benefit from our local business knowledge but her ability to ensure that their individual brand identity sets them apart from their competition. Having been part of York’s incredible business community since 2004, I was delighted to join the Board for the York and North Yorkshire LEP. An organisation whose values align perfectly with One to One’s in respect to supporting and developing growth and opportunity in our region. Alongside Abi’s appointment is the launch of our new Outplacement and Job Seeking Services. Outplacement is a way of giving employees (that you may be forced to let go), the very best chance of securing a new position rapidly, whilst sending a positive message to the team remaining and protecting your employer brand.
Our job seeking service is there to support candidates, with the provision of intensive coaching workshop sessions that will provide them with a structured plan, tips and tricks and the peace of mind that they are doing everything possible to get that next job.
