Project Team Coordinator
A highly sought-after permanent, full-time position has become available for an organised, forward thinking and digitally keen Project Team Coordinator to work for a global, corporate, engineering-based organisation based in central Leeds.
The Project Team Co-ordinators provide robust and proactive support to all team members, including two Directors within a Technical department. This is a pivotal support role within a busy team and will make a significant impact on how the team operate and engage with their clients.
The role will involve being the ‘go to’ person within the team, supporting colleagues in producing quality deliverables and ensuring smooth operations and will involve the following;
- Providing light PA support to two Directors; proactively identifying tasks to support them, understanding their business and project priorities, pre-empting issues and coming up with solutions. Diary management, email and task management.
- Supporting the team in project administrative activities in line with client requirements – this will include high-profile project work as well as routine administrative tasks, for example supporting on workload spreadsheets, gathering finance information to support invoicing or supporting the project team in adhering to internal procedures.
- Working collaboratively with both project, business development and marketing teams in work-winning activities – preparing bids, PQQs and preparing supporting documentation such as CVs, project sheets, etc.
The ideal Project Team Co-ordinator will have an ability to build strong and positive relationships in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment and be able to identify and utilise these relationships, ensuring efficiency within the team.
Self-awareness is crucial, to be able to manage your own resilience and be sensitive to others’ agenda; this is an essential part of the role and is key to developing valued working relationships, continually being mindful of impacts on the team, clients and internal colleagues. You will also have skills in cloud-based technology and enjoy using new applications to enhance performance.
