An opportunity for a ‘can do’, team orientated individual with administrative and organisational skills, has become available for a Hire Coordinator to join a small Commercial Hire team within a large and very well-known company in Leeds for an initial 6 month contract.

The overall purpose of the role is to develop and promote the Company’s hire business by providing telesales, commercial and administrative support to the Hire & Visitor Centre and Hire & Service Centre to achieve order levels at agreed margins.

Your days will be varied and will involve the following:.

Carrying out structured business development

Responding to enquiries to generate sales orders

Maximising every opportunity through promoting the full range of Building Services

Promoting and achieving commercial visit targets to be undertaken by the Hire & Service Centre Manager

Achieving hire orders and other KPI targets

Preparing quotations and drawings against customers’ requirements

Ensuring the customer care programme is met to ensure maximum satisfaction, continuity of business and to maximize referral opportunities.

Effectively use internal systems to ensure customer information is kept up to date and systems are aligned.

As well as the ability to organise and prioritise lots of different work streams, you will have excellent communication and relationship building skills as you will be liaising with different departments/suppliers and business customers. It’s important that have strong commercial acumen and an ability to see the bigger picture within an organisation.

In return the Hire Coordinator will be working as part of a really great, supportive team and line manager who will work alongside you to develop your experience and day to day knowledge.

It is essential that you have experience of working within an office environment (salary is commensurate with experience), have excellent IT skills including Excel and Word and that you enjoy working as part of a wider, goal-driven team.
